Lancot Swans Football Club

Welcome to Lancot Swans Football Club

We are a fully inclusive club that follows the FA fair play rules, who believes that football should be available and enjoyable to everyone regardless of ability. We are fully affiliated to the FA and therefore follow their guidance in relation to the running of the club.

We are proud to have around 70 players already signed on, but new players are always welcome. Year 3 in particular would love to add some budding football stars.

There is a new committee in place, with Chris Tompkins taking on the role of Club Chairman. And, we are delighted to have just recruited our newest coach Adam who is will be the coach for the Year 2 “Hornets”.

The season is now in full swing and the first friendlies have been played.

Year 1

Last week our Year 1 “Wolves” and “Foxes” teams played their first ever games for Lancot! A huge congratulations to all of them. They all played brilliantly and showed excellent team spirit. It was a lovely sunny morning and the teams had a brilliant time. Medals for taking part in their first match for Lancot will be presented by the Club Chairman on Saturday morning.

Years 2, 3 and 4

Teams from years 2,3 and 4 all took part in some fun training with their coaches and work, as ever, is ongoing to arrange their next fixture.

Year 5

Year 5 also played their first match of the season last week and got a well-deserved win for their efforts. The Goalkeeper received the Player of the Week trophy for some amazing goalkeeping skills.

Players of the week are:

Year 1 – William and Jacob T
Year 2 – Jack
Year 3 – Abigail
Year 5 – Mason

So a big well done to all our players for their efforts so far and we look forward to seeing you all at our next training session.

Did you know we offer training to our Reception year? So if you have a “Buttercup” or “Bluebell” that wants to get into football – please get in touch.

If you would like to learn more about the club and what we do, please email

Bingo Night

Our first fundraising event of the season will be our Bingo Night on Saturday 17 November 2018. Eyes down for a 7.30pm start with cash bingo prizes up for grabs and a licensed bar.

Please ensure you buy your tickets at one of the training sessions, or you can email your interest to to arrange to pay on the night.

All our events aim to raise funds for the club which go straight back to the players, and cannot run without good support, so don’t miss out!
