Safeguarding

At Lancot School, we take the welfare and safety of your child very seriously. We believe that children have a right to learn in a supportive, caring and safe environments, where staff are vigilant for signs of any pupil distress.

Our designated safeguarding lead is Michelle Stewart. Please contact her in the first instance if you have any immediate concerns about the safety or well-being of pupils in the school.

For all other pupil concerns, the Class Teacher is the first point of contact.

Alternatively, parents and carers can also phone the hub (0300 300 8585) to make contact with Children’s Services should they need to.

There are also agencies which can offer advice and/or support regarding concerns.
